Our Personality

As important as OUR PURPOSE and OUR PROCESS are, it doesn’t mean much if we don’t behave in a manner consistent with those statements. So what about OUR PERSONALITY? These are our values and how we behave, make decisions, and act at all times and for us to succeed in our mission we must know, and let everyone know, exactly who we are.

Our Values

We will keep the main thing the main. The main thing is, and always will be, Jesus risen and crucified. (1 Corinthians 2:2, Hebrews 12:1-2)

We do more by doing less. The disease to please is found in the trap of doing more. (Luke 16:13, 1 Corinthians 14:33)

We know found people find people. The Church does not exist for us, we are the Church and we exist for the world. (Luke 19:10, Galatians 6:9)

We are spiritual contributors, not spiritual consumers. Jesus did not call us to sit on the sidelines and watch. (Ephesians 4:16, Mark 8:34)

We always bring our best. Excellence honors Christ and inspires people. (Colossians 3:23, Proverbs 22:29)

We refuse to play it safe. With Christ we can do more than could ever ask, think, or imagine. (Romans 1:16, Ephesians 3:20)

We embrace our limitations. It’s the absence of resources that often produces the best results. (Genesis 1:1-2, Matthew 25:29)

We will act and be honest in everything. If you don’t believe the messenger, you won’t believe the message. (2 Corinthians 8:21, 2 Timothy 2:15)
